In hour one, Michelle sits down with Spring, Simon, and June from the Cincinnati Practical Education Coalition to discuss organizing workers in the hospitality and food service industries. The group shares their experiences advocating for restaurant and hospitality workers throughout downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine, the challenges facing service industry employees, and the importance of building worker power at the local level.
In hour two, Clayton and Mark celebrate the 100th episode of Boiling Point by reflecting on the journey that brought them there. They revisit some of the show's most memorable interviews, discuss the lessons they've learned from guests over the years, and share how producing the program has shaped their understanding of labor, politics, and the Cincinnati community.
